University of Phoenix Offers Career Workshops for Job Seekers
It can be hard to find a good steady job in today’s market, but University of Phoenix Online wants to help. The school has long been offering articles online with tips and pointers for resumes and job interviews, but now they are taking things a step further by launching a series of career workshops at their flagship Phoenix campus.
University of Phoenix recently launched a series of workshops to help the unemployed re-enter the workforce. The series kicked off May 20 with a “Resume Building” seminar that attracted about a dozen job seekers.
Waddell resident Nancy Pulicella attended and said the most practical thing she learned was to never separate categories on her resume using black lines. Doing so could cause the document to be automatically rejected during an electronic screening process, she said.
Tips from University of Phoenix are nothing to scoff at: the school has over thirty years of experience in career training, and University of Phoenix reviews tend to be overwhelmingly positive testaments to their competence in building skills and starting careers every day. Interested? Contact University of Phoenix and find out about their next seminar! It just might change your life.
