Argosy University in Washington
The Argosy University campus in Washington is located in Seattle, contender with the Silicon Valley for recognition as a Mecca for technology pioneers. Microsoft had much to do with that designation for the Seattle area, and there are dozens of companies that developed in the area with product lines that were spun off by former Microsoft employees or vendors. The Argosy University campus offers degrees in the areas of Psychology, Liberal Arts, Education, Business and Criminal Justice. While technology is an important part of the Seattle area economy, so are many other areas of commerce. The area's largest employer is Costco, followed closely by Boeing, which builds aircraft in both Tacoma and Everett. Starbucks, Nordstrom and Weyerhauser are all based in the area. Job opportunities can be found in many sectors, but the competition is stiff due to a highly educated and trained populace.
