Argosy University Psychology Degree
About Argosy University Psychology Degree Programs:
Argosy University offers psychology degrees through two school divisions: the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, and the American School of Professional Psychology. Between the two you can obtain the training and skills to work in any facet of the psychology profession.
Clinical psychology options include work as a counselor or social worker or as a marriage & family therapist. The list of specialties goes on to include mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling, possibly the fastest growing field of all the counseling specialties.
As an adjutant to other forms of treatment or endeavor you can pursue a career in sports psychology, school psychology, forensic psychology or industrial & organizational psychology. Organizational psychologists are increasingly working as consultants to corporations and industries who want assistance in stepping back and trying to reorganize personnel into a more effective business unit. Forensic psychologists work with law enforcement agencies or attorneys, often supplying the "expert witness" brought in to testify regarding a person's motivation, intent, mental state, etc.
