The Empire Education Group has built an empire of cosmetology schools in Pennsylvania, operating nineteen facilities under its flagship brand of Empire Beauty Schools. There are two within the City of Philadelphia itself, one in Center City and one in the northeast area. Also in Southeastern Pennsylvania there are Empire Beauty Schools located in Exton, and Warminster. North of Philadelphia there are Empire Beauty Schools located in Allentown/Whitehall and Hanover as well as a facility in Moosic, near Scranton. Moving to the west there are Empire facilities located in Pottsville, Reading, Lebanon, Shamokin Dam and Harrisburg. Below Harrisburg both York and Lancaster have schools, while north of Harrisburg there is a facility located in Williamsport. Moving further west you will find an Empire Beauty School in State College, PA, home of Penn State University. In Pittsburgh and the state's western area there are facilities in Monroeville, West Mifflin, and in Pittsburgh itself located in the North Hills area.
