ITT Technical Institute in Louisiana
ITT's Louisiana campuses are located in Baton Rouge and in St. Rose, a district of the New Orleans area. Baton Rouge is the state capital, and the business of government has long dominated its economy. In general, the Louisiana economy is fed by the oil and petrochemical businesses that operate using crude oil from the Gulf oil fields. The Mississippi River is also a major transport route, serviced by Louisiana facilities that include shipyards and trans-shipping facilities. The two campuses offer degrees that fit in well with the state's industrial base, including courses of study in logistics and project management.
