Strayer University's campuses in Tennessee are about where you'd expect to find them: Memphis, Knoxville and Nashville. For all of the flash and racket generated by the Nashville music scene, Memphis is nonetheless the largest city in the state and its commercial center. Tennessee is split into three distinct geographic and economic segments: Eastern Tennessee, Middle Tennessee and Western Tennessee. In many ways, they are like three separate states.Memphis is in the eastern portion of the state, where it has access to the Mississippi River's transport and traffic.
