A Certificate from Strayer University online requires 27 credit hours of coursework. That is about half the time required for a Diploma in the same field of study.
Strayer has eleven Certificate options in information technology that will provide you with a wealth of options if you are considering academic credibility for an entry level IT job. Topics include Computer Security, Data Management, Web Development and the unique Internetworking Technology.
There are six Certificates in Accounting, two of which are designed for students at the undergraduate level - one in Introductory Accounting, one in Advanced Accounting. The Certificate programs for college graduates include specialization in Taxation, Controllership and Accounting IT.
In the business sector, Strayer offers nine Certificate courses of study, also divided into undergraduate and graduate, or executive categories. They include studies in Marketing, E-Business, Human Resources Management, Small Business Management and a number of other topics suitable for a quick, concentrated certification academic program.
