The Art Institutes in British Columbia
There are two Art Institutes campuses in the Vancouver area, one located downtown and the other in the outlying town of Burnaby. Both campuses have strong media arts, culinary and design schools. One of the educational options you won't find at all the Art Institute campuses is event planning, an option at the Vancouver campuses for both the Certificate and Diploma level. In a city with such a strong tourist and convention trade, event planning is an excellent choice for someone who would be at home in a large hotel catering division or working with a Convention Bureau in a large city.
