The Art Institutes in Massachusetts
This Art Institutes campus is known as the New England Institute of Art and is located in Brookline, a Boston suburb. It was founded as a broadcast school decades ago and passed through several hands until acquired by the Art Institutes in 1999. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, a credential that is critical for both the Institute and its students. The history of gradual approval for the expansion of degree programs is an interesting one and speaks to the importance that the Art Institutes attaches to mainstream credibility. Today a New England Institute of Art student can obtain a Certificate, a Diploma or a college degree in one of the four principal academic disciplines: Fashion, the Media Arts, Culinary, and Design.
