The Art Institutes in Virginia
The two Art Institute campuses in Virginia are both located in Northern Virginia, the exurb of Washington DC that sprawls through many counties across the Potomac from the Capitol. One is in Arlington, just across the river and the other is in Sterling, near the Dulles Airport. Both offer academic programs grouped into four groups: Culinary, Design, Fashion and Media Arts. Virginia students who want to redirect or rejuvenate a career can obtain a Certificate, an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree in important employment niches such as Industrial Design, Web Development, Advertising or Graphic Design. There are just as many career-oriented academic choices at the Art Institutes as there are in many traditional colleges.
