About The Art Institutes Certificate Program Programs:
At the Art Institute, the levels of academic study are uniform throughout their departments, majors and areas of emphasis. They include Non-Degree Coursework, Diplomas, Certificates, and the traditional Associate's and Bachelor's Degrees. A Certificate program is designed to give a professional with some related experience in a field enough training and education to become a specialist.
For instance, the Certificate program in Digital Video Production requires that the student have fundamental working knowledge of applications on a PC or Mac, and specifically they must have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Two years of professional experience is required, although it need not be related to video production.
The Certificate Program at the Arts Institute is a continuing education program.
