About The Art Institutes Culinary Programs:
The Art Institutes offer two degree programs in this field: Culinary Arts and Culinary Management. As they do with most of their academic choices, the Institute mixes the art in the field with the professional skills required to maintain a career in the field. The culinary arts program teaches kitchen skills to those who love to cook, and in addition teaches skills like inventory control, a critical issue in a professional or industrial kitchen. Culinary management includes catering management and the skills needed for work in the hospitality field. Students may obtain a Certificate, an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree.
