The Art Institutes Game Design Degree
About The Art Institutes Game Design Degree Programs:
There are three degree choices available for career opportunities in the enormous and ever-growing video game industry. Through the Art Institutes you can obtain a degree in Game Art & Design, Game Programming and Visual & Game Programming. These are three different approaches - and to some degree, skills - for professions in the videogame business. Game art and design focuses on the animation of a game, on its look and feel. Game programming is utilizing the software applications and code languages to make a game work. Visual and Game Programming is also oriented to the technology of game development, but expands the scope of study to include multimedia applications in other industries.
The Arts Institutes offer both an Associate's and a Bachelor's Degree in all three of these academic majors. There are also programs for Certificates, Diplomas and Non-Degree Courses of Study. There are opportunities for using these skills in game development and in the real world of product and service designs as well.
