The University of Phoenix (UOP) can provide you with a degree to match your job interests in the accounting field. UOP has degree programs at the associates, bachelors and masters level along with certification programs in both business accounting and finance.

An associates' degree in accounting is necessary for an entry level position handling bookkeeping in an office setting. Many employers look for people with bachelors' degrees so they can be moved up in the organization. UOP has bachelors' degree programs in business/accounting and business/administration that will provide employment opportunities in accounting.

UOP has three masters' programs for accounting professionals. One is an MBA with an accounting focus, and the other two are masters' degrees in accounting and in information systems management. This last option is an excellent mix of accounting education as it is applied to computer-based record keeping.
