
University of Phoenix in California
The University of Phoenix has a large presence in California, with 38 campuses scattered across the state providing classroom education to the state's residents. There are seven located in the Bay Area, including one in San Francisco and one in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley. In the San Joaquin Valley area there are three University of Phoenix Learning Centers including one in each of the two larges cities; Fresno and Bakersfield. Moving northward in the state's center, there are nine University of Phoenix facilities in and around Sacramento, from Modesto in the south to Chico in the north.In Southern California there are twelve campuses covering a huge area that includes Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. At the bottom of the state, the San Diego market is served by eight University of Phoenix campuses, with two in the City of San Diego and the rest in towns stretching all the way to Palm Desert and El Centro in Imperial County.
