About University of Phoenix Health Care Degree Programs:
There are two principal educational paths available in health care at the University of Phoenix. One is in the field of health administration, and the other is in nursing. In both, the variety of specializations reflects the expanding diversity of jobs available in the world of managed health care.
There are eight masters' degree programs in nursing with several specializations in the nurse practitioner field. Nursing degrees with a focus on health care management and health care education are also available. There are also masters' programs available in health care management, again with specializations such as health care informatics, gerontology and health care education.
There are several ongoing education programs in the nursing field that can be valuable. There are bachelors' degree programs for LVNs who want to advance to RN status. For nurses who want to earn a bachelors' degree the University of Phoenix has an online or campus program available. There are also three options for bachelors' degrees in health care management.
