Walden University Education Degree
About Walden University Education Degree Programs:
Walden University has two Master's Degree programs in the field of education. The school offers a Master's in Education Degree for those interested in school administration or have their own interests for post-baccalaureate options such as studies in curriculum and instruction or education technology. There is also a Master's of Arts in Teaching Degree that is specifically designed to prepare you for the additional requirements leading to teaching licensure, which in most states are student teaching hours and passage of a state exam in addition to the Master's Degree. Specialization options are in the fields of Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
There is also a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree program offered through Walden's online university system. Many students have college credits that can transfer into this program, as they are returning to the education profession after being absent for many years. Discuss this issue with a Walden counselor, or send for a free information packet.
