Walden University Nursing Degree
About Walden University Nursing Degree Programs:
Walden has two degree programs for Registered Nurses. Because there are two non-degree paths to licensure and status as an RN, many experienced and well-trained RNs do not have a college degree. Yet for management roles in the nursing field, many health facilities want to see candidates for promotion to the administrative level equipped with collegiate credentials.
Walden provides two options that provide those credentials. The first is an RN-to-BSN program, in which registered nurses can enroll and achieve a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing to add to the resume. The second is an RN to Master's of Science in Nursing program which will boost RNs into graduates with an MSN Degree. A bachelor's degree is not necessary for the MSN program, but interested candidates should check on the transferability of credits from previous collegiate experience.
