Answers Corporation (NASDAQ: ANSW), creators of the leading answer engine offering Answers.com�� and WikiAnswers.com��, announced today that it has established a $20,000 WikiAnswers Scholarship Fund for deserving students planning to enroll in undergraduate college studies during the 2009-2010 academic year. The Scholarship, administered for Answers Corporation by The Center for Scholarship Administration, will award twenty scholarships of $1,000 each. The deadline for the submission of WikiAnswers Scholarship applications is March 31, 2009.
"Building the world's largest and most useful Q&A community takes a lot of hard work, and it doesn't only happen on the WikiAnswers site. Knowledge sharing is a part of who we are everyday," said Bruce Smith, Chief Strategic Officer of Answers Corporation, "which is why we established the WikiAnswers scholarship fund for deserving students."
Qualifications for this scholarship include being a high school senior or student enrolled in undergraduate classes in college, and United States citizenship.�� You will also have to correctly answer 50 questions on the WikiAnswers website for consideration.
