Courses are very reasonably assigned and there's sufficient assignments and tests to help students carry themselves towards end of each courses. School's trying its best to keep student active in class and in other areas. Very kind and helpful staff and professors, as well as knowledgeable. Overall college experience is excellent compared to my last full time university. I enjoyed studying here more than other places.

I had attended campus graduate programs at top universities in the past, and had few graduate courses with A or B grades at those universities, but never had the the chance to finish a Master's degree because of personal circumstances related to work and not seeing a degree as that important at the time. When the Online option became advertised heavily, I thought of going back to school to try to get my Matsers again, and after careful search for the quality of programs, accreditation, and costs of various universities, I chose American Sentinel University and enrolled in it, expecting that it would be easy for me to finish in less than a year. I did not present my old time graduate courses to ASU to obtain credits, because the courses were taken long ago, and so I had to take 12 courses to complete the programs. I was shocked later on at how difficult the assignments were, and how much efforts I had to put to succeed. The program was much harder than my previous campus experiences, and it took me a bit more than 2 years to finish and graduate. I had many times thought of quiting, and wondered why the heck I had enrolled in the program in the first place. The difficulty of studying online and doing regular assignments was way beyond the difficulty I had experienced in regular campus education. I graduated with MSIS degree from ASU, and feel that my efforts were worth it.

If you're trying to balance work and a family with school, ASU is a great place to look into. It is a very military friendly place, and has some great technology programs that can help advance your career both in and out of the service.
