I just started looking into Argosy, I talked with Scott McIntosh who is the Assistant Director of Admissions and Heather Haight who is the Admissions Coordinator and they have both been great. The information and the willingness to help in anyway possible above and beyond what I expected. I applied to USF and Argosy at the same time and I have heard nothing from USF and they are still messing around with getting my transcripts from previous schools. Argosy has already received my transcripts from previous schools and has already accepted me into their BA fro Psychology program. I have heard nothing but great things from coworkers who are attending Argosy, looking forward to great things with this University.

The teacher's were great and that is about it at least for the San Diego campus. The reputation of this college is pretty bad in the community and they often do not hire from Argosy (unless for unpaid internships). The administration of this school lacks behind in everything they do. If it were not for the dedicated teachers I would say pick Chapman, USD, San Diego State or Alliant you will get far more for your money and the reputation of those schools are so much better.

I went to the Schaumburg/IL campus. I graduated last year in February, and they still haven't sent my actual degree. I called the office in November, and the lady said she forgot and that my degree would come in a couple of weeks. It's almost February, and I still haven't gotten anything! All what I have is my student loan bills.

There are SOME good things about this program (the professors, what you learn, etc), but it wasn't enough to get me to stay in the doctorate of the psychology program. I left with my masters as soon as I could, and I don't regret it one bit. There seems to be a lot of disorganization within the staff, the computers sometimes don't work, it's a free-standing school with no on-campus living..and I will just leave it there.

It's up to you, but I don't think it's worth taking out a 100K loans to get your Psy.D from here.

I will tell you of my experience. I come on line, to view potential colleges for her for this fall's semester. First off i cannot even ACCESS any of their information without them trying to drill me with 50 questions about personal information about me! I come on line to view simply 2 things. location, as this college states it is everywhere and also career options. NOW if i WANT more specific information, I will REQUEST it from your college, but do NOT force me to share information with you, BEFORE you even OPEn the dam doors to let me see what you have. I have no patience and no desire to be apart of a school that will not be open with information first, and then allow ME the option to request information if I so desire!!

I just completed my under grad in psy and I had a great expereince. Argosy is neither a diploma mill or a money mill. Also, your experience will be what you make of it if you complete your degree online. Yes you have to be more motiveated, yes you have to take more Initiative , yes you have to work hard and make it mean some thing. This all holds true for online and classroom based. Some professors were harder then others, some course work easier then other but the education I received was fantastic!!!
