I completed my associates in early childhood with Ashworth and i'm a teacher's assistant, and so far I haven't had any problems from my job with the degree and the credidation, but I suggest,do the homework before you enter any course.

"I graduated from the Ashworth’s Associate Degree Program and have now started with the Bachelor’s Program. I would have started with the Bachelor’s Program from the beginning, but Ashworth did not offer it at the time. The program met all my expectations. The overall product is very professional with up to date textbooks that are well written. My shipments always arrived on time and I was able to work on few different courses at the same time. As a working mother, I enjoyed the opportunity to work through the program at my own pace without having to stress about deadlines. I currently work as a teacher’s assistant at the school my son attends. My goal is to be an elementary school teacher. I have already checked my state’s requirements and know that a Bachelor’s Degree is required to teach in the public school system in my state, which is why I’m pursuing a second degree with Ashworth. The Board of Education has assured me that my Ashworth degree meets the necessary teaching requirements. My only gripe is that a couple of my essays took a little longer than I would have liked to be graded, but my Ashworth experience has been incredibly positive overall."

I have been in the Paralegal Program for about 18 months.I have one more class to finish my asscociates degree. I have really enjoyed the program and find nothing wrong with the school.I highly recommend Ashworth for anyone that wants to get an education and still work a full time job.

I signed up for Ashworth's early childhood education course, as I am an assistant pre school teacher in New Hampshire, and needed 9 credits to become an associate teacher, and 18 credits to become a lead teacher. Ashworth seemed the answer as I work full time and felt it would be easier than attending the local community college.

I realised that as Asworth is NATIONALLY accredited and not REGIONALLY accredited for this course, so I would probably never be able to transfer the credits to another college. But I thought, no problem, I just need these credits for my promotion. So I handed over my money and got to work.

I completed the first 6 credits and thought 'This is great'. Then one day I went into work and my director said to me 'Your couse is REGIONALLY accredited, isn't it?' NOPE. Well, it turns out that the New Hampshire education department WILL NOT ACCEPT NATIONALLY ACCREDITED COURSES. I spoke to the man who inspects the day cares and pre schools in our area and he confirmed it. He said that they have this problem all the time. People take these NATIONALLY accredited online courses, not realising that they will not be accepted by the state education department. I had wasted my time and money.
