DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. I attend at the Albany location and agree that this school is just in it for the tuition. The Administration is confused and very unprofessional. They cater to the uneducated and pray on goverment funding. The serious students are ignored. SAVE YOUR MONEY.......

I will never recommend this school to anyone. This school is not updated with any hospital equipment, has students getting thier cars broken into and the director not doing anything about it,saying its not his problem. If you come to this school they wont have and externship ready for you and the school doesnt look that good on the inside.Alot of adminstrations and teachers having been quitting. There was a student that had a heart attack and they didnt even have a crash kit ready for a problem like this.It hard to find a job when you leave this school because Branford Hall has a bad repitation. It is better off for everyone to save thier money to go to a different school and not waste thier money here.At this school they fired all the old admistration and hired young people that dont know anything.I advise people to think twice about going to Branford Hall.

I concur with the previous two posts. I too attended one of Branford Hall's Connecticut locations. The previous posts sum up a lot of major problems that the higher-ups are aware of yet keep selling, knowing full well its a fraud. You are definetely not getting what is advertised. There is no set ciriculum, no minimum standards, students are placed in programs they absoultely have no hope at succeeding in, meanwhile the rest of the class suffers. Then only to see that student quit the first weeks of externship. Which solidifies the consensus that the majority of the class lost out due to admissions only caring about tuition. I too was forced to find my own externship site due to the career service director not doing his job. Most of my class had no extern placement the last day of class. Some of the instructors were absouletely fantastic, but when you complain for 10 months and the big wigs finally do something, it was way to late for our group. Their answer was to fire a handfull of people and paint the walls. Meanwhile the underlying problems still exist. The new students are complaining about the same problems. Instructors quit out of the blue, one of which was very vocal about student placement in programs, another was thrown into her job, no cirriculum, no standards, no training, no nothing, he was a body in the class. He quit shortly thereafter. I'm sure we could go on forever, the bottom line is Branford Hall will say anything to get you sign the papers. Nothing less.

I agree with the previous review about the administration. The Career Services Department is useless and make no effort to be otherwise. The internship placements that they were supposed to provide did not materialize, we found this out on the last day of the final term. We found our own internships.
Also, they should have placement test for basis grasp of english writing, grammar and basic math skills. How are you going to be a paralegal if you can't write a complete sentence? How are you going to be a medical technician if you don't know your multiplication tables or how to do fractions???
The instructors are great and have a lot to offer but the administration undermines them by not requiring prerequisites to be met. Just because a person has a high school diploma does not mean they know how to read, write and do basic math. It is frustrating to have to sit in a class and be held up because 4 people have the skill level of a 6th grader. WTF?
Branford Hall just takes your money which would be better spent towards a 4yr degree program. -

I would never recommend this school to anyone. I went to one of their CT branches and wish I had gone to a real college. The people in administration are sales people and will lie to you about what you can expect to make after graduation. I only wish I had done more research on my own about all of this before signing up. I was told by them that people make twenty dollars an hour to start after graduation and in fact it's only like 12. I made that at my last job!! I wasted 11 months here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere.
