So far the Harrison Campus in Columbus, In. has really been great. Everyone there is so helpful and has done what they said they would do. I really hate the review I just read and the person has had nothing but bad experience. The staff in Columbus could not be better I am very thankful that I was able to attend it and meet all the staff. Things have changed a lot since Anita Miller has left some of the changes I am not so fond of, however change is what makes the world go around. I give the Harrison College Campus of Columbus, In. a 10.

Harrison College was a joke for me. I was promised from day one by the recruiter Elaine Tracy that I could get an internship in Accounting my last quarter. When the time came, I checked into the internship program and was promised one by the director of career services Patricia Knaebe. She never followed through on the promise. Since graduating last June, they have only provided one real lead on an Accounting position. Each week they send me a list of jobs that they have "researched". All they are doing is copying these jobs out of a database. Most of them don't apply to my degree or are even located within my area. The placement department should be out there making connections with local businesses and working to actively place their graduates. I was the one who informed Patricia about an accounting internship at a major corporation (Vera Bradley) in Fort Wayne. Absolutely no effort was made by her to help place me in a position there.
Financial aide was no help for me either. Multiple times, Jim Smithson was unhelpful and refused to return my calls. I ended up needing only 1 course my last quarter and he wanted to charge me for a full quarter. He promised to adjust the amount, but never did even though I went to him multiple times. The assistant director of financial aide, Jackie Edwards argued with me and told me I didn't have enough credits to graduate. I had to go to the Dean to prove to her that I was correct.
Bottom line: Harrison College was a waste of money!
