I have had the worse experience at Heald College in Hayward, CA. Every day, i feel as if I’m in "Romper Room" and even on there the kids where more mature. The sad thing is it’s not really the students it’s the teachers. They are absolutely ridiculous. I have tried on several occasions to talk to staff about the disruptiveness in the classrooms and the negative attitude the teachers have when trying to talk to them about something you don’t agree with. As mentioned in the above statement they have a problem with calling your cell during class hours, more than once. This is the most immature staff I’ve seen. The Director of Academics is a crash dummy. She says she’s a Heald graduate, is that what I have to look forward to? Her education isn’t too bright. I have been told by staff who to vote for during election the same person said that only men that dress well are “Gay”. Yeah, this was told by a Teacher at the school. I told him I make sure my husband’s boxers are matching. I’ve had enough and I’m doing something about it. No more justifying ignorance.

I'm currently attending Heald College and so far it's been a good experience.
I'm enrolled in the electronics program and am learning a lot! It requires a lot of time and commitment but what college degree doesn't? It goes by quickly!
They've been a big help with financial aid, which is a plus. -

I received two pressured calls from an associate in the Concord office. The first was during my lunch hour on my cell phone where I was told that she wasn't going to let me off of the phone unless I committed to a meeting. The next call was the next day where the call was again in my cell phone while I was working. When I said that I wasn't interesed, she hung up on me.
