I completed my externship in Raleigh, NC as a Surgical Technologist @ a Orthopedic Surgery Center. Over the years... Lamson College has improved so much from the time i started to now. I am on the verge in getting a job and starting my new career! I am a person who fulfilled my ambitions without doubt! Mainly with the support, comfort and guidence of my immediate family members who stood & believed in me that i can strive for my goals! I may have experienced many-hardships and took time-off from school, but I managed to come back! One of the best thing about Lamson: they have so much confidence in all their students too successfully complete their education. They allowed me to take time-off when i needed too & when i came back, i started right where I left off! Now i am ONE of the many PROUD student's that has GREAT SATISFACTION with the school i went too. Individually...I thank the instructors (especially to those that have left), financial-aid, career service and advisors... you guys are are awesome! Most importantly, Thank-You Brittney! without you, i would never been introduced to Lamson College. Keep up the good work!

I am a student who was DROPPED from school because I was working 60 hours a week and couldnt study so I failed one class. Lamson is so unorganized and has no respect for institution. My Rep lied to me about the hours I would be attending class, and about the amount of time it would take to complete extern, which, btw, was guaranteed to me by graduation. The whole reason I chose Lamson is because I thought I would be finished already. My graduation was delayed, I'm on a 6 month waiting list, and I have a huge SO-NOT-WORTH-IT debt on my shoulders. I regret signing up for Lamson, and if they had not been so careless in enrolling JUST ANYONE in their programs, they wouldnt have a long wait list...and make students put their lives and dreams on hold because of their stupidity. I miss the GOOD caring teachers they let go. Stay away from Lamson everyone. They changed my opinion that any amount of money you invest into your education is worth it.

Lamson was a joke when it came to the Surgical Tech program. 2 of 3 dummies would fall apart and the operating tables are so outdated. The instrument trays were all incomplete and we were always improvising and pretending to the point if I went to an extern site I would have no idea what to do. I stopped after 6 months because I was not sure if I should cut my losses and go to a different school. when I left, there was a 9 month waiting list for an extern and the rep never told me that there was any wait. I was also told that classes were from 6 to 10 and they are actually till 10:30 or 11. If we had questions about if something was considered sterile or nonsterile we were told it was "a gray area" more times than I can count. Just about everything was a joke and I should have quit earlier. I would rather move out of state than go back there for school! I would give this 0 checks if I could. So disapointed

Like the sales rep told me, you get as much as you put in. All of the teachers care and regarding intern placement, I just finish SUR297 in March and have a site ready. I love this school. Lamson rules!!!

The staff at the school is so disorganized. Sales reps (Elaine I don’t care if I miss spelled her name she is not worth it)lie to students about externship. As of right now there is a 6 to 8 month waiting list. The sales rep had told me that I would be taken care of with externship as soon as I completed my classes. Most of the teachers don't care but a VERY few do care. The only good teacher in the complete school is Ms. Penny. All this school wants is your money. They (lamson) could careless about the students. The director for S.T has only a couple of month as a scrub, but acts like she done it for years (just an FYI) I am now down $23,000.00 with no externship. The job placement is also a lie. They do not help you on that either. Lamson theme is to lie to students and get our money. You are better of going to Gateway College. Lamson turned out to be another Bryman's college
