Long story short: after being stuck in a dead-end job for 5 years out of high school I decided to advance my education, for multiple reasons. After shopping for trade schools I picked LCT in Melrose Park. I opted for the 11 month diploma program as an EST. 6 months into it i had to get a full time job to help pay for school and things in general so i didn't have to live in a refrigerator box & because of it wound up working myself to the point where my attendance became horrendous, I thus began failing/repeating classes (FYI:each class you fail runs you $1100 supposing you have a working persons income). just today i went in and they laid me off for a month because the class i now need to take isn't running, which means their secretly cutting the budget & hardly anyone's enrolling now.
They don't really give a hoot about how badly you want to advance yourself or how above and beyond you go to make ends meet as school is your primary priority. Bottom line: its a money generator. Anyhow, I've now managed to cost myself $5000 on top of the agreed tuition, i quit my full time job to pursue school, and now it's looking grim! Tried to do the right thing for myself & others only to make a pitfall for myself. I'm 90% done but my graduation is now delayed...and so it goes.
If you wanna go a route like this, be sure to fully dedicate yourself or it's worth nothing in the big aspect. -

JUST STAY AWAY!!! This school is a total and complete rip off. Most of the students in the Allied Health program have been conveicted of felonies and will never, ever be able to get a job in the Health care industry and yet Lincoln willingly takes there money anyway. The will not work with you or schedule classes when you need them. They lie and I hope they get shut down soon. Someone needs to call a Congressional Hearing!

I Am a former student and They hyped up everything completly. Not very much hands on, most teachers just read right out of the book They don't come with the right tools that you should get for the supposedly cost 1200 but really only cost them 300. Definatly not worth the 20+ grand being paid, when they have state technical schools for around 6 to 8 thousand

I am sorry that everyone here has had poor experiences with Lincoln. I attend Lincoln College and I have learned so much. Yes, tuition costs a pretty penny, but I think it is worth it. I am in their Business program and it is excellent. An education is sometimes what somebody chooses to do with it. Good luck to everyone!

This school is a bunch of lies. The lady that gave us the tour made all these promises and said you can get ASE certified and they help you get your CDL. She said you get all this hands on training and every thing. It was all a lie they don't ASE certifie they said you have to pay more money and go an extra 10 months and I talked to a kid that did that and he still did not get ASE. And you don't get your CDL and you get like 4 hours of hands on training in 15 months. This school is a joke and full of lies don't waist your money or time.

Yes, The school isnt the best , Not worth your time...or money. I think I would have done better learning on my own starting at a Lube Tech job working my way UP. Although I am not proud at the school reputation or how they handle things, I have met great instructor that are willing to teach you...Its easy to get in the school, as easy as saying "Oh no, I need to turn my life around and go to a school."

If i knew what lincoln had to offer before i signed the financial documents i NEVER would have attended. The Denver campus is operated with no concern from the administration for the well being of the students and the tour was nothing but lies full of empty promises and sales pitches that unfortunatly i believed. Almost no hands-on training and unuseful lab work. I feel i could have read the text book alone and got the same knowlege, i think i wasted a lot of time and money.
