      I have to agree with Jessica. I went for the surgical technologist course in 2008 and ended up taking them to court to get my money back, I did win and they ended up paying back my tuition. The first teached I had was fired, then there was no teacher for two weeks, and had me in the mock operating room teachning myself the name of each instrument and what they were used for. Thank God I got out when I did and was able to get reimbursed.

      Medical Technology Institute claims to offer many incentives to get more students to pay their extremely steep tuition. They promise a knowledgeable staff meanwhile there is one teacher for the ultrasound program. They promise to help you get "job placement" after graduation and there is never any assistance in this department. They promise tutoring but the tutor is their only teacher who never is available. As a student I Jessica Scheerer would not recommend the ultrasound program to anyone.
