Wow. Where to even start with this school. I would say don't walk in. It is a beautiful campus and very clean it looks like a real salon but that is where it all ends. I graduated on June 23,2010. I got my paperwork to register for state boards one week ago. The corporate office does not have licensed cosmetologists they are just random people. I transfered from the Lakewood campus where I felt proud of my work and that I had chosen the correct path in my life. As a graduate I am not even looking for work. By, the end of all the "mistakes" that the corporate office made i paid another 4000* out of pocket, was kicked out after they "never recieved my fax" which was odd since I had all of the paperwork for it going thru...hmm. When I transfered schools I had a 96% attendance after my transfer my attendance dropped to an 86%. I hated being there. I wanted to drop out of the school with plans to sue and never return. Please be wary of the wonderful things that they say to make you think it is the best!

It's a racial war every single day. The rules change constantly- including the hidden charges which will bite you and piss you off royally even if you are a pretty laid back person. Everyone is always in a bad mood because the classrooms are so jam packed you feel like yo are gonna lose your mind. The cops are called all the time. The only clients are black ladies who want black students who "know what they're doing" to do their hair. We never get any male clients. A huge amount of time is spent just doing nothing or trying to avoid getting verbally assaulted by a black lady who demands a black student but ends up with a white one. Overall this school is not a good learning setting. I feel scared that I will get beat up. They make it impossible for you to transfer to a different school w/out losing a ton of money. This place is built to squeeze every single last DIME out of you, your family, and the government. The dress code is a pain. Basically the whole thing is set up to make the student lose and regency win. Our educators are nervous all the time when the people from headquarters come in and snoop around rudely. No problems ever get solved by headquarters. They are mean, greedy, and fake. The morale is low all around and I would not have gone here had i known that this is just an empty shell disguised as a school. All this place is is an instrument designed to suck dollars out of your pocket. you get herded like cattle. No 1 on 1 attention. It's like a woman's prison.

I am a Student right now at WS campus, I wish I would have looked up reviews on this school... Im happy now that Im about done but I sure would have gone to another school even though this school is the closest to me, all they care about is $$$$ and you will pay alot out of your pocket even with fasa and loans they find a way to get more out of you... so those who are reading this and thininking about attending, DONT you will do much better elsewhere

This school is just a scam to get money. They don't care anything about the students-they are jsut money hungry!
Student advisors are rude!Policies are always changing. Major favoritism goes on here. Do not go to this school. Much better off attending another school.
