Cosmetology Associate's Degrees
People who are able to earn an associate’s degree in cosmetology are usually able to work in a variety of different professional positions in the beauty and wellness industry. There are several vocational schools, like American Career College and Empire Beauty Schools, that offer this level of cosmetology degree.
An associate’s degree program in cosmetology can help students learn how to color hair, apply permanent waves, chemically straighten hair, apply formal and glamour makeup, give facials, perform pedicures and manicures, and more. If you would like to work in a spa or salon -- or if you are interested in owning your own hair salon, tanning salon, manicure shop or other beauty-related business -- an associate’s degree program can help you learn the skills for the position.
